His clinical approach involves working together to form new, healthier habits, ways of thinking, and strategies to cope with life in more meaningful ways. Additionally, Nick believes that humor, laughter, community, and establishing a sense of joy and fun in our lives help us to reconnect to who we truly are and want to become.

More About the Owner

I want to take a moment to share a little about myself, because I believe that connection is so important in meaningful therapy and sometimes it helps to know a little bit about who you’re going to work with. Choosing a therapist is an important step, and it’s only fair that you know a bit about the person you’re trusting with your story, struggles, and aspirations.

I am a native Texan from Dallas, Texas where I have spent most of my life outside of living a year in Germany. Becoming a therapist was something I knew I would strive to become from a young age for more reasons than I can write. Personal therapy helped me so much through difficult times and continues to keep me accountable to my goals in life. I always hoped to one day to pay it forward and am priviledged to now say I do! I have always enjoyed hearing people’s stories as well as being a source of optimism and encouragement when others are struggling. As an extrovert, I find myself energized being in the company of others and believe there is the potential for good in every living person…sometimes we just don’t know it yet.

In my freetime, I enjoy mountain biking, traveling, live music, playing with my dogs and cat, spending time with family and my wife, reading, video games, literally anything and everything considered geeky/nerdy, spending time outdoors, cooking, and experiencing new activities I’ve never tried. I have a long history of volunteering in various areas around mental health and in the process of training my golden retriever, Odin, to become a certified therapy dog. As you can see in the picture to the right, he can’t wait to start helping others find hope and healing!
