LPC Supervision

Becoming a fully licensed therapist is a journey and every great road trip needs the right navigator. As an LPC-Supervisor, I’ll be your GPS, Guiding Professional Success, by helping you navigate the twists, turns, and occasional potholes of the counseling world. Supervision isn’t just about logging hours…it’s about building confidence, developing your clinical skills, and preparing for a fulfilling career as a fully licensed professional. My goal is to make this process both meaningful and practical, ensuring you leave supervision with a strong foundation for long-term success.

I have over ten years of experience in mental health and substance use counseling and I’ve spent much of my career training and mentoring new professionals. My background includes overseeing a substance use intensive outpatient program in five separate locations as a clinical director, developing a college counseling program, and providing trauma-informed therapy, including EMDR. I understand the challenges of working in diverse clinical settings, and I tailor my supervision to fit your needs whether you’re in private practice, an agency, or another setting.

Supervision with me is interactive, collaborative, and designed to help you grow into the therapist you want to be.  We’ll work through client concerns, discuss ethical challenges, and explore techniques to refine your therapeutic approach. I value transparency, feedback, and professional development, and I strive to create a space where you feel supported and challenged in equal measure. I will also offer a myriad of resources, including worksheets and skills, via Google Drive. Whether you’re merging onto the private practice highway or navigating the winding roads of agency work, I provide the roadmap (and occasional roadside assistance) to keep you moving forward. Reach out to see if I might be a good fit for you – it’s free!

*Please note that I do not have a strong background working with children or play therapy. I will refer to another supervisor if this is the primary clientele you will be seeing.
